Julia has seen quite a bit of lows recently. It has been 3 days now, and she is low within 2 hours of eating, and 4 hrs after, and at night, and fasting. I just can't keep that munchkin from dropping so now it is time to drop those basals, and higher her carbs per unit, and I bet when we do see a high we will need to tweak that ISF.
On a lighter note she loved her Valentines day party. She did just what I knew she would do. At least she has had plenty of fun candy to treat her lows.
She had her 100th day at school party yesterday. She wasn't happy. Shesaid it was more work then they usually do in school. I think the teacher needs to hear that feed back.
I recently met a man that knew about diabetes. He doesn't have it, his brother was dx'd with type 2 a few years back. He was so scared of becoming diabetic he started researching it. It was really weird to talk to someone who knew as much as he did, and asked informed questions. That hardly ever happens.
I hope everyone is doing well.

I am so sorry about the lows for Julia lately :( It seems that nothing is ever just normal with our poor D babies.
Valentines was a nightmare here :( Hailey wanted to eat the candy and I had to tell her only with shots which of coarse led to tears about how last year she got to eat just like everyone else and this year she has to be the "wierd kid" Broke my heart really :(
BTW I do knit and sew for a living. I had thought about trying my hand at pump pouches (knit or sewn)but just had not been motivated to do it. I should probably do it sometime ;) I will post a pic of my latest project that I am working on. A cute pair of wool pants for a customer. I will put it on my blog.
